‘Why a red box appear when drawing structures?’
Actually, It’s the KingDraw Auto-Proof function, indicating an error.
In Which Cases will the Red Box Appear…
KingDraw supports auto-proof function. When KingDraw system detects a structure error, a red box appears as an alert. In addition, the system reports errors when special groups cannot be recognized.
Some KingDraw users may be concerned about the image beauty. Don’t worry, red box is used as a hint, which only show while drawing. The red box will not appear while exporting files or copying to other software.
How to Turn Off Auto-Proof Function
Auto-proof function is default in KingDraw system. Please follow the steps below to turn off this function in different client applications.
· KingDraw for PC:
In KingDraw PC, we can open the auto-proof function by clicking【Menu】→【Option】→【Show Chemical Warnings】. Select 【Close】to turn off the auto-proof function, then when we draw the structure, no more red box prompts will appear.
· KingDraw for iOS & Android, HD:
In iOS & Android and HD, click the button【···】 in the upper right corner for more features. Select 【Setting】→【Other Settings】→【Proof】 to change the setting. When you turn on the button, KingDraw system will turn on auto-proof function; when you turn off the button, this function will be turned off.
