Apply document settings

ACS Document 1996 is a structural drawing format that some professional chemical journals require. It specifies in detail the chain angle, bond spacing, bond length bold width, line width, as well as the font and size of the element. ACS settings should be used for both structures and reaction schemes. These settings are usually available as templates in chemical drawing programs.

In this tutorial, my objective is to walk you through the steps required to change the default document settings to ACS document 1996 in KingDraw. Let’s get it!

KingDraw PC:

In KingDraw PC, users can quickly set ACS Document 1996 by right-clicking on canvas, then selecting “Document Setting”“Apply Document Settings From” “ACS document 1996”
